Celebrating Ms. Doemel’s 25 years in Music Education

It was great to have a shortened Pre – LGPE Camp despite the wintry weather conditions and school closure. We celebrated Ms. Doemel’s 25 years in LHS Orchestra with a fantastic surprise and potluck dinner. We had the company of our students, parents, alumni, the Lassiter Director of Bands, Mr. James Thompson and the Lassiter High School Principle, Dr. Chris Richie. There was music from our alumni musicians and LHSOA parent, Ida Anderson. Mr. Thompson, Mr. Mori and Dr. Richie spoke of their experiences with Ms. Doemel and had some lovely words to say about her. The Photo Montage compiled by Greg Watson, the LHSOA photographer got us to see the very many things she did over the last 25 years for the growth of Lassiter Orchestras. Congratulations! Ms. Doemel and wish you many more. Thank you families, for bringing those fabulous cakes, foods and helping in all possible ways. Thank you to our sponsors, Zaxby’s and Publix for their contribution as well. Some snapshots below. Watch out for more on our Facebook Page and our website.
