Coming soon – Night at the Movies Spring Concert and Fundraiser

Ms. Doemel, Mr. Mori, and our wonderful musicians are working hard on our annual Night at the Movies spring concert.  As is our tradition, this is also an important fundraising evening for our orchestra and we need your support.  We will host a raffle for some very cool items such as

  • Disney Park Hopper Tickets
  • A craft beer tasting for you and your friends by award-winning Georgia brewmaster, Gene Denney-Lybbert
  • Atlanta Symphony Tickets
  • Private string lessons from our esteemed Lassiter String Academy faculty
  • And much, much more!

We need our orchestra family to step forward and offer premium items for our raffle, or assist in soliciting premium raffle items of exceptional value.  Do you own a business and can offer something cool?  Do you have friends or family who might be able to acquire something cool?  Would you like to purchase something cool to donate?  Please, do what you can to help. Download this donation letter that can be presented to prospective donors. <<Donation Request Letter>>

And, of course, please bring your family and friends to both help us reach our goals, and of course hear our fabulous musicians perform some of your all-time favorite movie scores.

Please contact our Fundraising Chair, Kim Jones  – jones.kimberly@icloud.com, to offer your items for donation.

Kroger Community Rewards

Our supporters (17 households) who shopped at Kroger between 11-28-2016 and 2-26-2017 (Cycle 4, Qtr 2) have contributed to your $27.55 total donation. Thank you to those families. This is one way of giving without spending, if you can take a little time to enroll in the Kroger Community  Rewards program and select the LHSOA #68865 as the local organization to support, not only do you get incredible deals at Kroger while you shop you also silently contribute to the LHSOA. Re-enroll here. Takes a couple minutes to set up and it keeps giving every time you shop for the next year!!

Show your Orchestra Spirit!

Would you like to recognize your Lassiter musician and show pride in your orchestra in a colorful way? It is free for Seniors and just $25 for others. The LHSOA will come to your home and stencil our LHSO logo on your driveway. If you would like to have your driveway stenciled, please download the LHSO Driveway Stenciling Permission Form, fill it out, and deposit it, along with a check to the LHSOA lock-box in the orchestra room. Please e-mail Sharon Powers with any questions you have on this project.
