Summer Music Intensive

This is the last week students can register for the KSU Summer Music Intensive. The Intensive is a non-residential event held on the KSU campus June 5-9. In addition to growth in skill and musicianship on their instruments, student participants will study the creative world of improvisation, the music of the Baroque, the nuts and bolts of how music works with music theory, an overview of music history, and much more. Each day will also feature a faculty recital as well as special seminars covering topics such as conducting, film music, aural skills, and practice techniques. Participants who attend the Summer Arts Intensive will be considered for scholarships to attend Kennesaw State University and major in the School of Music. The participation fee is $295, which includes all lunches.
